Last updated: 14 July 2026
Short answer
- ScoreReady is built for senior secondary study, not social networking or public sharing.
- Student work and progress are private by default.
- Teacher access is tightly controlled and only available after manual validation and approval.
- Linked teachers only see students who have joined their class flow.
- Student data is not sold, used for advertising, or made publicly visible.
- Account data can be deleted by request or from the account page, usually immediately and within 48 hours.
- Core application data is stored securely in Asia-Pacific cloud infrastructure covered by SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 security programs.
Student privacy
ScoreReady collects only the information needed to provide practice, feedback, account access and teacher-linked class features. Student progress is not public. A student's practice history is only visible to the student, authorised site administrators, and a linked teacher where the student has joined that teacher's class.
ScoreReady does not sell student data, does not use student data for advertising, and does not publish student responses or scores.
Students can delete their account data from the account page. Deletion usually occurs immediately, though completion across related systems may take up to 48 hours.
AI and feedback
AI is used only to provide study feedback. It is not used to make official assessment decisions, replace a teacher's judgement, or generate a VCAA result. Identifying account details are not needed for AI marking and are therefore kept private from AI marking requests.
Students should not include personal, sensitive or health information in written answers. Feedback is framed as learning guidance, not as a formal school mark.
School requirements
ScoreReady is designed to support the types of checks schools commonly need to complete for digital learning tools, including privacy, information security, child safety, software assessment, data access and deletion. Core application data is stored in Asia-Pacific cloud infrastructure covered by recognised independent security frameworks, including SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001. The public page keeps technical infrastructure details general; specific security and storage details can be provided directly to school leadership or IT/security staff where required for a school assessment.
